The home side, a mixture of experienced players and numerous youngsters, put up an all round polished display and ought to have won more comfortably.
Bow Street took the lead with a well-crafted goal, following a sublime cross by Shaun Jones from the left, and a neat finish from Neil Davies with a header. Llanrhaeadr equalised ten minutes later following a defensive mix up, but the excellent Shaun Jones then headed the home side back in to the lead just before half time.
The second half saw a lot of home pressure but chances were missed and the Llanrhaeadr goalkeeper made a couple of good saves. The clinching goal came 15 minutes from the end when Lee Crumpler headed home from a corner. So the happy home players and supporters look forward to the draw for the quarter finals next week.
