Bow Street climb to third in the league table following an impressive win over much fancied Hay St Marys. Despite losing the influential Tom Williams after a quarter of an hour, the home side carved out numerous opportunities before half time, but were unable to convert any.

After half time, they eventually made their superiority count. Dylan James rose at the far post to head home the first; Dean Evans then scored his first goal since re-joining the club with a superb finish. Finally it was Evans again who scored the third to seal the victory.

Manager Barry Williams was delighted with the victory, and looked forward to next Saturday’s away game at league leaders Rhayader, “I am delighted with the performance. Although we created a lot of chances, and scored three, the performance of the back four was outstanding, not giving Hay any opportunities. We are all looking forward to the challenge of playing in Rhayader. It was a very tight game at Cae Piod in early September, which ended 1-1. It should be a good occasion.”
