The points were shared this afternoon as Bont salvaged a last minute draw. A point apiece was probably a fair result but the Res will feel that this was an opportunity missed for all three points. In a fairly even contest the Res lead at the break through a goal from Dean Evans. Shaun Jones missed a golden opportunity to extend that lead when through on goal but he dragged his shot wide.
Bont increased the pressure in the second half but only created a few half chances. However they got their rewards with a last minute strike from a corner which wasn’t cleared properly.
